Role Overview:To lead and manage the talent acquisition function to attract, recruit, and retain top talent for the Agency, including developing and implementing strategic recruitment initiatives, managing the recruitment team, and ensuring a seamless and positive candidate experience while working closely with senior management and other teams to understand staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies.
This is a Department built entirely for children and young people and their communities. Our ultimate goal is to work together to ensure that every child and young person in Tasmania is known, safe, well, and learning.
Duties• Lead and manage the talent acquisition function to attract, recruit, and retain top talent.
• Develop and implement strategic recruitment initiatives.
• Manage the recruitment team and ensure a positive candidate experience.
• Work closely with senior management to understand staffing needs.
Period of AppointmentASAP for 12 months
Hours per Fortnight73.5 hours per fortnight
Minimum Requirements:The Registration to Work with Vulnerable People Act 2013 requires persons undertaking work in a regulated activity to be registered. This registration must remain current and valid at all times whilst employed in this role.
Current Tasmanian Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (Registration Status - Employment).The completion of tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management or other relevant field, or significant background in Human Resources Management.Strong experience in project management.Application Process:• Statement of Duties and a reference guide to assist with applying online can be found here.
