Manager, Tafe Transition Ongoing Usual hours of work: Full time (flexibility may be available)Usual work location: 35 Collins Place, Melbourne (flexibility may be available)The Role The Manager, TAFE Transition, is responsible for developing the Change Management Plans to support the delivery of specific TAFE Transition objectives to drive improved quality, efficiency and responsiveness (including in emerging areas). Project Portfolio Management systems, tools, processes, training, and other materials.
The role will work across the Office of TAFE Coordination and Delivery as a change management subject matter expert to provide advice and guidance to leadership and project delivery teams.
The role will hold accountabilities for:
Change Plan development - developing change plans to support implementation of new and enhanced applications and frameworks, that includes leading the development and implementation of key supporting materials, including guides, training, and general system/process support.Change plan oversight - implementing roadmaps of activity that uplift TAFE service capability (including quality and responsiveness of training delivery), organisational capability and financial sustainability.The Team The position of Manager, TAFE Transition forms a part of the Office of TAFE Coordination and Delivery / Skills and Employment Group
Skills and Employment (SE) focuses on enabling Victorians to gain access to skills and employment opportunities and enabling a strong pipeline of workers to meet Victoria's skills needs, now and into the future.
The Office of TAFE Coordination and Delivery (OTCD) plays a system leadership and management role for the TAFE Network across Victoria. The OTCD is primarily responsible for driving change in the way in which the Victorian TAFE Network provides training as a coordinated network and serves Victorian students, employers and communities and responds to Government priorities.
About You The Manager, Tafe Transitions role will be required to identify recurring problems and prevent future recurrence by integrating solutions into work process, deliver tangible business outcomes and effective solutions.
To be a successful candidate in this role you will need experience in leading the translation of identified issues, risk and trends or implementation priorities to develop fit for purpose change management project plans and oversight, whilst also consulting and liaising with, and influencing key stakeholders ensuring their buy in with organisation and departmental plans.
