Management (Information & Communication Technology)Government - State (Government & Defence)Full timeLevel 8, $144,597 - $156,598 per annum (pro-rata)This is a permanent full-time position commencing ASAPThe Statewide Services division provides the services and supports required by schools to enable student achievement, with a focus on those students and schools that need it most.As a manager, within the Service Design and Support directorate, you will inform and contribute to the directorate's purpose of providing strategy, policy and program oversight and operational support to the division.The RoleThe Service Design and Support Directorate is seeking an experienced and motivated manager to lead the System Services and Responses branch within Statewide Services.The System Services and Responses Branch aims to provide a single point of entry within Statewide Services for system-facing requests including:strategic policy inputdeveloping and managing processes to deliver effective, timely responses to the system.The role includes the leadership and capacity building of staff who play an important part in providing collective system services and supports across Statewide Services. Branch functions include Padbury facilities management, implementation of the Professional Learning Information System (PLIS), support for Statewide Services Ikon communication, establishment of systems and processes for Statewide Services system requests, and the preparation of a range of responses across different topics.Support provided by the System Services and Support branch needs to be responsive to emerging priorities. As Manager, you will lead and support staff in the preparation, completion and monitoring of a wide range of functions and seek relevant expertise from across the division where required.As such, this role requires the Manager to be agile, solution-focused to leverage resources to maximize efficiencies and have a comprehensive understanding of system and ministerial processes.
