Manager Westpac Banking Corporation Sydney, Australia Job DescriptionPermanent, full timeSydney LocationFlexible work arrangementsHow will I help?A key deliverable for the role is ensuring all ongoing board, board committee, executive team and broader group leadership requests (e.g. board strategy review, target setting, external disclosures, peer analytics, data rollout) are delivered in a timely manner and to a high quality.The role will be integral in collaborating with stakeholders to deliver timely, relevant and actionable advice and insights to customers (the board, executive teams and broader leadership), whilst also supporting the team's collective development.Continuously drive the focus on and balance across performance, commercial value, risk management, innovation, sustainability, group controls, productivity and digitisation in the execution of its policies, practices, processes and subject matter expertise.There is a significant transformation ask in this role to ensure we are reporting in an efficent, simplified and driver-based manner to enable insightful analysis on a timely manner.Some of your key responsibilities will include:Employ and foster a growth and continuous improvement mindsetCollaborating with Finance Transformation Strategy and other partners to deliver the right outcomes for Group Finance and Finance more broadlyWork across the GPI and Group Finance Business Intelligence specialists to automate and simplify reporting and forecasting processesExecute reporting and analytics processes to provide insights for Board, ET and other management decision making for end-to-end P&L and Balance Sheet including:Revenue outcomes across net interest margin, balance sheet and capital forecastingThe Group's expense base and productivity targets5-year strategy, target setting and scorecards processesPeer and competitor viewsSupport decision making across the enterprise based on product profitability and returnsDevelop and maintain a view of our competitive environment, and incorporate into ongoing analysis for senior stakeholdersWhat's in it for me?You'll play a significant part of the future of a business that has been around for over 200 years.
