Lead and manage an effective team in the delivery of Queensland Health's Sustaining Capital Program, including the assessment of funding submissions relating to the department's capital replacement and renewal programs and the administration of policies that govern capital funding. This is a Permanent opportunity located in Brisbane CBD with Flexible Full-Time hours.
The Manager, Sustaining Capital Program effectively manages funding to support the capital replacement and renewal programs and the policies that govern capital funding.
This role also proactively supports the broader needs of the Department, HIQ and HHSs in providing strategic insights into the sustaining capital program and other statewide capital funding programs.
Key responsibilities include: Provide expert level advice and leadership on reporting financial and non-financial performance related to the sustaining capital program, within the scope and responsibility of the team. Champion best practice innovative solutions for HIQ related to program management and the sustaining capital program. Develop high-quality briefings and communication related to the sustaining capital program, including provision of timely, high-quality advice to Ministerial requests and other government reporting as requests. Lead, negotiate with influence and maintain effective relationships with a wide variety of internal and external stakeholders to ensure effective management over the sustaining capital program. The successful person In this role you will be valued for your experience in managing programs of work including reporting and analysis and your ability to lead team members. You will lead team leaders and/or multiple projects or areas of work, under broad direction from the Director, Senior Director, or Executive Director, Operations.
