Lead the implementation of the QCS Digital and ICT Strategic Plans to ensure QCS strategic priorities are met and alignment with whole of government digital strategies;
Develop and maintain a whole of agency framework (within a recognised industry standard framework) that guides all ICT systems' architecture designs ensuring consistency, mapping of interdependencies across QCS application landscape, and an understanding of architectural risks and issues;
Establish and drive implementation of a QCS ICT system application roadmap and inform investment forward plan;
Provide strategic advice to senior management, business units and project teams in the prioritisation, evaluation, planning and delivery of ICT investment opportunities;
Review and evaluate value for money on Digital and ICT-enabled investment proposals and provide evidence-based analysis on where ICT investment will provide benefit;
Maintain strong working relationships with QCS business units in order to promote Digital and ICT strategic initiatives and services and to establish and communicate the Branch service catalogue and service standards
Research current and emerging technologies and provide innovative and fit for purpose solutions aligned with whole-of-Government and QCS strategic principles;
Lead a team of policy experts to deliver on ICT and information management policy review and awareness program of work which supports QCS digital and ICT service operations;
Leads, measures, monitors and communicates outcome of risk, capability and maturity assessments to ensure that the strategic application of change is embedded in the management of the organisation, ensuring the buy-in of all stakeholders;
Lead and oversee the Solution Architecture Review Group and Technology Solutions Authority. Facilitate reviews, guide decision-making and manage evaluation of all architectural designs in accordance with relevant policies and architecture principles.
