Are you a strategic thinker with a passion for managing diverse projects in a dynamic environment?
We have an exciting opportunity for a Manager, Strategic Projects to join our Faculty of Humanities team for 12 months (secondment cover), commencing in January 2025.
In this role, you will be responsible for planning and delivering faculty-wide strategic projects, ensuring they align with our goals and initiatives.
You will play a pivotal role in advising on business improvements, providing strategic insights, and overseeing project management from inception to completion.
This position offers a high level of autonomy, allowing you to manage a portfolio of diverse projects independently while maintaining strong relationships with key stakeholders across the university.
Key Responsibilities:Leading and managing multiple faculty projects with a focus on strategic planning and outcomes.Collaborating with internal teams to prepare business cases, project briefs, and manage resources for successful project delivery.Reviewing and analysing current processes, providing recommendations for improvement.Facilitating communication and maintaining effective working relationships with stakeholders.Tracking and reporting project progress to ensure objectives are met on time and within scope.Qualifications:Relevant qualifications and extensive experience in managing complex projects, ideally within a higher education environment.Strong strategic planning and analytical skills to drive continuous improvement.Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities to manage a broad range of stakeholders.The ability to work independently, with a focus on delivering results and maintaining project governance.Application Process: To apply, please provide your CV and a cover letter to allow us to assess your suitability for this role.
