An exciting opportunity exists for a Manager as part of the Statewide Operations team within the Disability, Inclusion and Student Services branch. This team has responsibility for providing policy direction and program management relating to a range of educational issues and strategic initiatives.

About the Role: We are seeking a team leader who has excellent strategic leadership and communication skills.
The Manager will be required to:
Lead and manage teams and projects and coordinate the development of new initiatives; Provide high level leadership and strategic advice on policy issues, projects and programs; Undertake research, analysis, monitoring, review and evaluation to ensure alignment with corporate goals; Critically analyse issues and prepare accurate and timely briefs, reports, responses to correspondence and requests for information on issues at state, national and international levels; Contribute to interagency planning and implementation of significant government reforms; Establish effective internal and external networks and liaise, communicate and coordinate with key personnel to achieve required outcomes; Foster a team environment where professional growth and continuous improvement are priorities. What you need to succeed: The ideal applicant will have the following key attributes:
Strategic leadership skills to manage teams and work in a fast paced, changing environment. Demonstrated ability to lead the review of departmental procedures, associated guidelines and resources. Demonstrated ability to provide advice and guidance to schools, regions and external stakeholders. High level research skills and data analysis and management skills. Highly developed written, consultation and negotiation skills to allow effective liaison with a diverse range of stakeholders. Knowledge of or the ability to rapidly acquire knowledge of, education policies and practices. Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with team members and stakeholders to develop solutions to complex issues. Interested?
