About the RoleWe are seeking someone who is ready to lead stakeholder and community engagement, event management strategy and initiatives, while also providing support to other areas of the business to meet their goals.
You will play a pivotal role in deepening our relationship with community, business, government, education and health sector stakeholders and partners.
Key responsibilities include but not limited to:Develop and implement a stakeholder engagement strategy to understand needs, foster connections to the RFDS brand, and deliver meaningful activities and events.Identify opportunities for innovation and expansion of the Community Engagement, Education, and Events portfolio.Collaborate with marketing and communications teams to deliver targeted, inspiring stakeholder communications, including impact reports, advocacy campaigns, and storytelling.Apply business development strategies to grow the reach, impact, and commercial outcomes of RFDS Victoria's Education Program.Manage the Engagement & Events Program budget, ensuring regular reporting on progress and priorities.To be successful, you will need:A relevant tertiary qualification in event management, business development, stakeholder engagement, public relations or communications.Minimum of 5 years of demonstrated experience in strategic advisory services, event delivery, relationship management, business development, stakeholder engagement or project management experience.Proven ability to work with and gain support from a diverse group of stakeholders, often with varying interests, viewpoints and needs.Experience driving outcomes with community members, community groups and government stakeholders.High proficiency in computer literacy (Microsoft Office including Excel and Powerpoint, Web, social media, Databases, Gmail, Mac OS X).Satisfactory completion of safety screening including a current Working with Children's Check, National Police Check, and the right to work in Australia.Our BenefitsEmployee Assistance Program (EAP).Access to salary packaging options to reduce your taxable income for all employees, including our casuals.Enjoy a full-time role with flexible work arrangements to work from home and at our Richmond office, as well as options for purchased leave.Great parental leave benefits in addition to government parental leave.Need more informationTo access the position description and to apply please click 'Apply' to be redirected to our Career Centre.
