Manager, Specialist Medical Practice

Deakin Physicians is a small mixed endocrinology and oncology practice in Deakin. We are seeking an experienced practice manager to replace our current practice manager, who is leaving after more than 20 years of tenure.The successful candidate will oversee our welcoming team, alongside an experienced assistant manager on either a part-time or full-time basis. We are looking for an individual dedicated to providing exceptional patient care and supporting our clinical and administrative staff in achieving this goal.About the roleIf you are a reliable, professional and proactive person with attention to detail, we offer a position that includes a hands-on approach, working with the team to manage patient appointments, billing, enquiries and correspondence to a high standard of service. You will also be responsible for ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all aspects of our small business.Experience as a practice manager or in a senior medical reception role with accounting experience would be highly desirable.Tasks and responsibilities include, but are not limited to:Coordinating schedules of practitioners and staff.Team leadership – recruitment, training and management of small team.Financial management and accounting support, including payroll, procurement, taxation and completion of monthly financials using Xero.Monitoring of supplies – ensuring clinical and stationery supplies are adequately stocked.Maintenance of medical records in accordance with appropriate regulations.Ensuring patient care is delivered at a high level of excellence.Workload shared with experienced assistant manager.Applications including resume and cover letter should be forwarded to ******#J-18808-Ljbffr
