This role manages a function that provides spatial data services, analytics, and systems for Crown Lands.
The role is responsible for managing the delivery of specialized services, including:
spatial and other forms of land and location data analyticsmaintaining cadastral databases to reflect movements in the Crown Lands estatethe provision of technical support and maintenance of applications hosting property data, anddata and systems support services to key stakeholders.The purpose of the team is to deliver high quality, reliable land information/data to stakeholders internal and external to Crown Land.
The role also leads the development and maintenance of customized Geographic Information System (GIS) applications to drive data quality and business processes improvements, customer, and user experience.
What you will bring to the role Proven leadership qualities, including the ability to motivate and inspire others to achieve shared goals.Strong vendor and stakeholder relationship management and delivery experience.Experience in utilizing databases and geographic information systems to improve the integrity and quality of spatial and textual data through data maintenance, extraction and analysis.Experience in managing Spatial applications, managing operational and developing teams.Experience in implementing business and operational improvements.Strong problem-solving abilities to navigate complex challenges and adapt to evolving situations.Essential Requirements Tertiary qualifications in Data and Information Systems for land or spatial environments, or similar discipline and/or equivalent level of knowledge and experience.Join us If excited by the information above, we look forward to receiving your application, including a copy of your resume and cover letter expressing your interest and suitability for the role.
