As a Manager or Senior Manager in our Brisbane Forensic Accounting team, you will have the opportunity to develop your career on your own terms while leading a high-performing, motivated team.
You will apply your experience and expertise across a broad range of forensic engagements, including contentious valuations, commercial loss and damage claims, insurance events, accounting reviews, and investigations.
Our Brisbane team primarily undertakes Dispute Advisory assignments.
Key responsibilities Advise on a broad range of forensic accounting engagements, including business valuations, commercial loss and damage claims, insurance events, and accounting reviews and investigations Build and maintain beneficial stakeholder relationships, including client liaison and the provision of trusted expert advice Detailed review and analysis of the financial performance of businesses Research and analysis of a variety of business, industry, and economic data and information Be responsible for the management and day-to-day running of engagements Participate in business development and practice management activities, as well as provide coaching, mentoring, and training opportunities to other team members Skills and experience CA / CPA / CFA qualification or other relevant and recognised overseas qualification(s) Significant forensic accounting experience, ideally gained within a public practice environment Experience with preparing valuation reports and/or commercial loss and damage reports for disputes Strong analytical skills and mindset, complemented by lateral and critical thinking capability Conscientious with a strong degree of accuracy and keen eye for detail Excellent written and spoken English communication skills If you're interested in this role but don't feel that you match every single one of our requirements, we would still love to hear from you and explore the unique skillset and attributes that you can bring to the team.
