The Office of General Counsel & Secretariat are looking for an experienced Secretariat team member to assist in providing high quality advice & support to the firm's peak governance bodies, including PwC's Governance Board and Committees as well as PwC Australia's group companies.
This person will provide governance services, advice and support to Governance Board Committees and PwC companies and trusts.
This person will work directly with the broader Secretariat team and assist with facilitating governance best practice and compliance with governance related obligations.
Strong communication skills, prioritizing integrity, delivering quality and the ability to be a team player are essential.

As a member of the Secretariat team, your impact will be seen by: Planning for and attending board and committee meetings, drafting minutes, recording and actively monitoring actions, liaising with directors and the businessDrafting director and member resolutionsSupporting governance related projectsActively engaging and building strong relationships with individuals across the FirmManaging the obligations of companies and trusts generally and providing information about entities internally as requiredWorking in conjunction with the Manager, and the Senior Associate to undertake the Team's responsibilitiesMaintaining structure and corporate recordsAssistance with the supervision of junior staffActing as the company secretary of companies in the PwC Australia group, where required.About You: Demonstrated experience in enabling effective governance in a complex environmentPeople management experience highly regardedRelevant qualifications and experienceHigh integrity and discretion when handling confidential informationAbility to manage multiple stakeholders and competing prioritiesStrong interpersonal skills and enthusiasm to actively engage with individuals across the Firm.Detailed understanding of corporate structures and their operation.It's time to move forward.
