Organisation: Department of Transport and PlanningOccupation: ProjectsReference: 4241About the RoleThe Manager of Scoping and Development, part of Regional Transport, leads a team of design engineers and project managers to ensure regional transport projects are appropriately scoped, costed, and aligned with the DTP Project Management Framework. This role provides technical leadership in project design, ensuring excellence across all regional projects. Additionally, the Manager collaborates with regional stakeholders to identify and integrate opportunities for collaboration into program and project development.High Performing Team –  The Team Leader Engineer Scoping and Development has developed a high performing team of technical and project specialists.Project Development –  Technically fit for purpose projects are scoped, costed and presented in accordance with the DTP Project Management Framework.Stakeholder Management –  The incumbent has identified and effectively engaged with key stakeholders resulting in high levels of stakeholder satisfaction.Project Readiness –  Projects are delivery ready and documented using the Project Management Framework.Effective People Leadership –  The incumbent has provided effective leadership, people management and support to their team. Staff are engaged with high levels of cohesion and commitment and are delivering on the services required.Promote and support safe, inclusive and flexible team operations.Key Selection Criterian ideal candidate excels in Partnering and Co-creation, building and maintaining partnerships, coaching others, and fostering team commitment by demonstrating personal dedication.
