As the Manager Risk Analytics at CS Energy, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of quantitative risk analysis, modelling, valuation and reporting on energy and financial risk, ensuring the business meets its strategic and operational objectives.
Responsibilities include (but not limited to): Lead the development of risk analytics methodologies across market risk, credit risk liquidity risk and plant outage risk.Lead the financial risk model development including the evaluation, validation and maintenance of models and tools.Provide leadership on structured pricing and risk modelling across wholesale trading, retail contracting and new asset investment decisions.Build and maintain dashboards for financial risk visibility and management.Deliver insightful risk reporting and validate external pricing and forecasting models used across the business.Participate in risk-related committee activities and collaborate with stakeholders to align with governance standards.Develop, coach and mentor team members to build knowledge, skills and ability required now and into the future.About you: To thrive in this role, you will have the following skills and experience:
Bachelor degree in a highly quantitative discipline (e.g.
mathematics, physics, applied finance, etc.
).Relevant post graduate qualifications or equivalent work experience.Minimum 5 years energy industry experience in a leadership role, specifically with financial risk management oversight.Strong knowledge of Australian energy markets and financial products.Proven experience leading and developing others to deliver strategic outcomes and objectives.Ability to build partnerships with cross-functional teams to inform and influence.Exceptional communication, presentation, business writing and professional skills.You will be an experienced leader, with a track record in driving outcomes in both operational excellence and culture.
