Your New Role Are you passionate about responsible investing and eager to make a positive impact on society? We are seeking a Manager, Responsible Investment Communications to join our dynamic Investment Governance & Communications team at Aware Super.
In this role, you will:
develop and implement our Responsible Ownership communications strategymanage the delivery of investment collateral across multiple channelscontribute to our annual report and member fact sheetsYou will work closely with the Responsible Investment team and other internal stakeholders to enhance our Responsible Ownership narrative and support channel-led investment activities. If you have a strong background in finance, investments, and ESG communications, and are committed to delivering high-quality, strategic content, we would love to review your application. This role can be performed from Sydney, Melbourne or Brisbane.
How do you exceed our expectations? The idea of being part of our growth is exciting and you want to play a pivotal role in making super simple.Appropriate tertiary qualifications specific to the finance industry covering investments and superannuation, with an understanding of the regulatory environment.A minimum of ten years' experience within funds management/superannuation, with time spent in communications roles anchored in delivering ESG communications plans viewed favorably.A sound understanding of responsible investing, including ESG integration, asset ownership, and stewardship activities, particularly as it relates to superannuation.Familiarity with the full spectrum of asset classes (including unlisted assets) and derivatives.A strong comprehension of financial markets & instruments and the regulatory issues, industry standards, workings, and practices associated with them, particularly in relation to responsible investing.Strong written and verbal reasoning skills, with concise and clear messaging, and a high degree of attention to detail.Solid interpersonal, networking, and communication skills.A high level of integrity and professional repute, and a genuine care for members.You are balanced in accepting risk in any decision you face.
