THE ROLE The Manager, Relocation Operations leads a team to support households relocate from their home while social housing redevelopments are completed. The relocation team applies a renter-centric approach to engage with households to understand their needs, find a suitable home, and support their move.
The Manager, Relocation Operations will lead a management team to deliver on a range of relocation projects using strong people, stakeholder, and project management skills. The role requires excellent communication and leadership to deliver high profile Government projects, establish and maintain collaborative relationships with local stakeholders, assess and respond to risks, undertake regular and ad hoc reporting, and author accurate and timely briefings and correspondence.
Are you: A strong leader with demonstrated experience leading people and client-focused teams.Able to self-manage and use project management skills to lead teams in a dynamic environment with competing priorities.A strong communicator with proven experience working collaboratively with a range of stakeholders.We encourage you if you represent the communities who live in the public Housing Towers to apply.ACCOUNTABILITIES INCLUDE Manage and oversee the implementation of Homes Victoria relocation projects in line with Government and community expectations to deliver a seamless, positive relocation experience to renters and communities.Provide leadership, guidance, and authoritative advice to internal and external stakeholders and prepare and present detailed, comprehensive reports, ministerial briefs, cabinet, and agency submissions on complex matters.Identify emerging issues, risks, and trends impacting on the successful achievement of key business objectives and imperatives and provide high-quality business intelligence and sound recommendations based on comprehensive research and investigations.COVID-19 VACCINATION The department strongly recommends (but does not mandate) that employees maintain their COVID-19 vaccination status in accordance with current ATAGI (Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation) advice, given their individual circumstances. As of June 2023, DFFH does not require evidence of COVID-19 vaccination status.
