The Manager Regulatory Operations Gippsland coordinates the regional Gippsland team that works with co-regulators, related entities and the community to improve compliance with the law, consistent with the Conservation Regulator's risk-based, intelligence-led approach to deliver best practice environmental compliance.
This position is also responsible for the administration of Authorities to Control Wildlife and rehabilitator authorisations in the region, and leadership of the region's program of compliance monitoring and enforcement relating to permissions.

Specialist/Technical Expertise/Qualifications Knowledge and understanding of conservation regulatory legislation, policy and implementation. Well-developed analytical and risk assessment skills. Good knowledge of health and safety risk assessment relating to regulation work. Skills in business process mapping and design. Analytical assessment and evaluation skills. This is an ongoing position. The work location for this position is flexible within Gippsland with hybrid work arrangements available.
