PRIMARY OBJECTIVE: Lead the Regulation team by refining and implementing Power and Water Corporation's economic regulatory strategies that deliver on our commercial and regulatory obligations and significantly contribute to the achievement of strategic objectives.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop, advocate for, and advance Power and Water's strategic position on key economic regulation policy issues.Provide regulatory and commercial analysis and policy advice to internal and external stakeholders.Manage relationships with regulators, customer advocacy groups, and key stakeholders.Provide effective leadership to influence government, regulator, and rulemaking bodies.Interpret complex policy changes and identify necessary regulatory changes.Engage with Power and Water business units to provide strategic advice and advocacy services.Act under own initiative in a changing dynamic environment.Drive team and enterprise change, ensuring achievement of business plan initiatives.Drive staff engagement through active team management and planning.Develop and review MyPlans for direct reports.COMPETENCY PROFILE: "HOW" to do it (Manager of Function profile - refer to Power and Water's Behavioural Competency Guide)
