Our Organisational Development and Learning team deliver strategic expertise and business services in individual and organisational learning, development and recruitment to build leadership capability and champion DHS workforce strategies and initiatives.We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager, Recruitment Services to join our Organisational Development and Learning team.
This leadership position will be responsible for overseeing the strategic development and delivery of recruitment, attraction, and retention-related programs, projects, and services for the Disability, Youth Justice and Safer Family Services portfolios.
You will play a key role in providing expert advice to senior leaders within the Department of Human Services (DHS), as well as managing a dynamic team of professionals dedicated to high-volume and specialist recruitment services.As the Manager, Recruitment Services, you will:lead and supervise a team focused on the end-to-end delivery of recruitment servicesdevelop and implement recruitment, retention, and workforce planning strategies in collaboration with DHS leadershipensure recruitment activities are completed on schedule and within compliance with State and Commonwealth policies and guidelinesbuild and maintain strong relationships with key internal and external stakeholderscontribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of recruitment services.About YouTo succeed in this role, you will need:strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse teamextensive experience in recruitment, including high-volume and specialist recruitment services, and a deep understanding of recruitment best practicesexcellent stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate with senior executives and external partnersa proven track record of developing and implementing recruitment and workforce strategiesa commitment to continuous improvement and the ability to drive positive change in a fast-paced environmentexperience working within a disability services organisation is an advantage.If you are a results-driven recruitment leader with a passion for building high-performing teams and developing strategic recruitment initiatives, we would love to hear from you!Special Conditions:Employment-related Screening Check required.National Police Check required.Some out of hours work may be required.Additional Information:You are required to submit a cover letter, up to a maximum of 2 pages, addressing how your skills, experience and capabilities align with the role description.
