As the Manager Recruitment Partnerships and Admissions, you will:
Effectively lead and manage the recruitment and admissions teams to enhance TAFE Queensland's international student recruitment opportunities, and TAFE Queensland's position as a premier provider of education in the international education market both onshore and offshore. Develop key strategies and implementation plans for international student recruitment and admissions teams to meet revenue targets and increase the volume, diversity and quality of the TAFE Queensland International student cohort. Lead the international student admissions team and processes, ensuring exceptional customer experience while maintaining compliance and legislative obligations. This position reports to the Director, International Engagement.
This is a Permanent Full Time opportunity that is primarily based out of our Southbank campus, however  you may be required to perform work at other TAFE Queensland campuses.
Key Responsibilities Contribute to the success of transformation and cultural change through promoting and modelling the established values of Safety First, Working Together, Focussing on our Customer, Taking Responsibility and Showing Initiative. Provide strategic and operational management to a large and complex team of professionals across a number of locations, allowing for continual professional development and consideration for succession planning. Identify and delegate appropriately individual responsibility, set individual and team performance targets and track performance against targets to ensure organisational and team priorities are met. Oversee, evaluate, review and implement global strategies for international student recruitment, achieving identified revenue projections from designated markets, including the development of partnerships for onshore commercial delivery, exchanges, joint research opportunities, academic and student exchanges and study abroad opportunities. Develop recruitment strategies and implementation plans for TAFE Queensland International Education, adhering to budgets and reporting requirements, and using data-led approaches to inform plans that maximise revenue generation both on and offshore and to strengthen the TAFE Queensland brand and reputation internationally. Establish and maintain external stakeholder relationships with key Agents and partners, representing TAFE Queensland on and offshore through the active participation in relevant international groups, associations and functions, utilising these events as opportunities to maintain currency of knowledge of industry trends and developments, and maintain strategic partnerships. Leverage an in-depth knowledge of designated target markets and work with TQIE Senior International Leadership Team to develop, implement and report on international marketing and student recruitment plans and coordinate information in relation to International Education policy and key industry issues as required. Oversee the accurate assessment of student applications and resulting offers to students, ensuring all processing is undertaken in compliance with procedures, timeframes and legislative requirements. Continuously promote business improvement efficiencies by streamlining processes, reducing cost and enhancing outcomes. Leverage available data to make recommendations and take swift action to implement required changes to ensure TAFE Queensland is maintaining a strong student base and pipeline in line with the TQIE strategic and operational plans. Support the creation of external communication plans and materials to profile TQIE to international Education Agent Networks and international markets. Undertake a key internal stakeholder management role by liaising with staff across TAFE Queensland to collaborate and maximise the opportunity for business growth and effective client relationship management, representing TAFE Queensland International Education on state-wide committees and groups as appropriate. How you will be assessed The ideal applicant will be someone who has the following key capabilities:

High level skills in the strategic and operational management of a complex, multidisciplinary and multi-site team, preferably management of a commercially focussed and high performing team in the international education industry. Proven ability to identify and implement process improvements that lead to operational efficiencies in a highly compliance-based environment. Superior communication skills and confident presentation, negotiation, influencing and listening skills paired with personal savvy. Proven ability to achieve KPIs and revenue targets, working collaboratively to achieve outcomes and adapt in a commercial environment. Highly Desirable Requirements Applicants should possess the attributes necessary to obtain visa clearance to undertake international and domestic travel on a regular basis.
