You will also lead a diverse, multi-disciplinary team across two of Perth's largest leisure centres while managing key relationships inside and outside the City.Reporting to the Director Customer and Community, you will ensure the success of the City's Strategic Community Plan and become an integral part of the City's Leadership group, contributing to key organisational decisions and shaping the future of the Canning community.What you will need to succeedApplicants must demonstrate:A customer focused, authentic, service drive leadership style.Strong commitment to stakeholder engagement, innovation, and continuous improvement.A whole of organisation approach to success.A passion for community health and wellbeing.A desire to challenge the status quo.Significant previously demonstrated experience at a senior level in managing a multi-disciplinary operation.Relevant qualification in Recreation, Business, Management, Health Promotion or other relevant industry.For a detailed overview of position responsibilities please refer to the Position Description attached to this vacancy.What's in it for you?This position is offered on a performance-based contract for a fixed term of up to five years and comes with an attractive remuneration package inclusive of salary, superannuation and provision of council vehicle.
