About the role
Manager Quality Management and Assurance is responsible for leading, defining and managing the end-to-end Quality and Assurance Management processes, including quality management, quality assurance and test management activities across platforms and programs to reduce development defects and maintain quality standards in support of the objectives of the TAFE NSW digital transformation strategy through its portfolio of work.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will have demonstrated experience in managing various technical teams including coaching and mentoring team members. You will be an excellent communicator and will foster an agile team environment that is collaborative and champions operational excellence in customer support through continuous improvement. You will partner with senior business and Systems Group stakeholders to understand the underlying problems and opportunities and apply thought leadership and technical expertise to devise solutions. Understanding of TAFE and previous experience working in the vocational education sector will be highly regarded.
To be considered for the role you will have: Degree qualification in related field or equivalent skills, knowledge and experience. Understanding and demonstrated application of risk-based approaches to quality management, assurance and testing. Excellent understanding of software development and DevSecOps best practices. Wide experience in different types of testing required in digital delivery. Solid understanding of CI/CD workflow and test automation. Our commitment to Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion
