Manager Quality and Safety | St Stephen's Hospital Employment Term: Permanent Full Time opportunity Location : Hervey Bay Remuneration: Competitive Salary   + 11% Super + Not for Profit Salary Packaging + Penalties & Allowances Your part in St Stephen's Hospital team We are looking for someone to lead the development and implementation of contemporary risk and quality initiatives in accordance with the strategic direction and goals of the hospital and UnitingCare.
To develop and implement quality improvement initiatives, review and reporting processes that provide assurance of the effectiveness of the quality of care at St Stephen's Hospital.
What makes a difference for us? Tertiary qualifications in Quality Management / Nursing / Medicine Demonstrated expert knowledge and/or clinical experience in service delivery and quality systems in hospital sectors. High level knowledge of relevant regulatory systems and National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards. Proven knowledge of contemporary continuous quality improvement practices and care and clinical governance practices. Demonstrated competence in analytics of care and clinical indicators with ability to deliver tangible outcomes.  Demonstrated understanding of person-centred care delivery. Demonstrated high level effective interpersonal and written communication skills. Ability to work autonomously while building strong relationships with a broad range of stakeholders. Experience and skills in the area of Risk, Quality and Governance. Recent experience in clinical audit and outcome review processes and an thorough understanding of Accreditation requirements Experience in a management role in leading the implementation of organisational wide quality initiatives in a healthcare environment Consultative and Collaborative leadership skills with the ability to develop and motivate individuals and multidisciplinary teams through coaching and positive role modelling.
