The Role Reporting into the Head of Delivery, the Manager, Quality and Release Management is a newly created role in the team.
The role is responsible for providing oversight and ongoing uplift of the Quality Assurance, Release Management, and non-production environment functions at MLC Life Insurance, in support of all system changes being delivered at the company.
You will also own and drive the development and maintenance of the roadmap for a continuous improvement plan for all functions related to Release Management, Quality Assurance and Environments.
About you An experienced Quality and/or Release Management manager, you possess a minimum of 7+ years of experience from a broad background and highly familiar with managing various environments within a highly regulated industry such as the financial services and/or insurance sector.
You possess a strong understanding of technology delivery (agile and non-agile methodologies), associated testing and release practices, environmental architecture and governance.
Through your varied experiences, you possess the know how of best practices in the quality and release management space, which will enable you to uplift our practices and the way we view release management.
Lastly, you are an experienced and passionate people leader with a genuine desire to develop and empower your team to grow in their professional careers.
