The Opportunity: We are seeking a Manager of Projects and Engineering to join our Tucson-based team. Reporting to the President of GRES USA, this role is critical in managing EPCM projects, ensuring safety, meeting project schedules, and achieving financial and quality objectives.
Key Responsibilities: Ensure project KPIs are met, with a focus on safety, scheduling, financial outcomes, technical/quality standards, and compliance. Lead multidisciplinary teams of project managers, engineers, designers, and consultants. Oversee technical assessments, risk reviews, and project and engineering personnel. Liaise with clients, attend project meetings, and ensure compliance with safety, environmental, technical, and engineering standards within all relevant jurisdictions. Support business development efforts, estimates, and tender proposals. Collaborate with the President to execute business strategies and drive project success. What We're Looking For: A professional engineer (preferably Mechanical) with extensive experience in project management, especially in the mineral resources sector. Experience in engineering and design team management, cost control, construction management, and site-based engineering. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills. Familiarity with industry standards like JORC and NI-43-101. Familiarity with Professional Engineering jurisdictional requirements and compliance. A strong preference will be given to existing PE qualifications in multiple USA states. Proficiency in MS Office applications. Proficiency in project management processes and systems.
