We seek a passionate Manager Project Services Manage and drive the Project Services PMO to successfully deliver portfolio efficiencies through refinement of standards, processes and reporting, whilst ensuring that best practice and fit-for-purpose are a priority in delivering maximum value for the portfolio.
With a strong focus on portfolio planning, tracking and monitoring, trend analysis, reporting, and continuous improvement.

Reporting to the GM Project Services and working in a challenging and exciting environment you will be: Developing and or coordinating initiatives and or projects involving cross-functional teams focused on delivering the agreed scope(s).
Driving process improvement activities and strategies, including but not limited to streamlining activities in alignment to the Pilbara Projects Strategy and overarching Rio Tinto Projects Strategy.
Developing, managing, and maintaining Portfolio reporting in accordance with PM+ and MOS, including leading the annual planning effort for Pilbara Projects.
Developing recommendations for use of existing and or new applications and tools in support of the Pilbara Projects strategic objectives.
Research and analyse pertinent portfolio data such as resource plans, portfolio opex, recharges, and productivity to provide recommendations on improvements.
Providing insight and challenge to Project Managers and workstream leads on input to portfolio plans, reports and schedules.
Being active in stakeholder management Internal and external across a diverse set of stakeholders, with different priorities Identifying emerging portfolio risks and develop mitigating actions, working with General Managers, Project Managers, and the broader Pilbara Projects team.
What you'll bring Ability to develop, communicate and implement strategic plans through strong decision-making and leadership skills Ability to effectively manage and influence a team to achieve business objectives Ability to build effective relationships through diplomacy, conflict resolution and negotiation Collaborative style to ensure optimisation of Pilbara Projects strategic objectives Commitment to safety and a genuine desire to continuously improve Strong statistical and analytical reporting skills.
Ability to work under pressure while prioritising and delegating tasks Strong communication skills, including ability to facilitate groups and present information Qualifications University degree preferred (engineering, commerce, business, or similar discipline), but not essential.
+10 years' experience in PMO essential, with 2+ years in a leadership role.
Experience in the Construction and Engineering, particularly in the Resources and Mining industries.
