It has a unique beauty with picturesque water holes, magnificent flora and fauna, red desert sands and rugged mountain ranges.About the Role:As the Manager of the Project Management Office (PMO), you will play a pivotal role in delivering innovative and diverse projects that align with the needs of our remote Indigenous communities. You will work closely with the Director of Council Services to oversee a wide range of projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and in alignment with Council goals and community priorities.This is a unique opportunity to have a direct impact on improving the lives of residents in remote communities, while also building your own leadership skills and advancing your career in a culturally significant and challenging environment.Your key responsibilities are:Lead the establishment and management of the Project Management Office (PMO), ensuring effective delivery of projects across our 13 remote Indigenous communities.Oversee projects from a variety of sectors, including capital works, community-driven initiatives, and local authority projects.Foster a culture of accountability, continuous improvement, and collaboration within the PMO and across other Council departments.Engage and work collaboratively with community leaders, Local Authorities, and stakeholders to ensure projects are tailored to the specific priorities of each community.What we're looking for:You will ideally hold tertiary qualifications in project management, business, or a related field, with extensive experience in managing diverse projects.
