Join the Civmec Team Experienced Project Manager sought to lead delivery of SMP and multi-disciplined sustaining capital and major project teams. Based in Gladstone (residential or relocation assistance possible). You will lead dynamic teams overseeing and coordinating full major project scopes of work, tendering, execution, and final completion at local and other Central Queensland sites with some DIDO assignments. The Role Duties and responsibilities of the role include but not limited to the below: Reviewing and advising on commercial, contracts and scope departures. Maintaining, tracking, and reporting on project progress and performance. Preparing and maintaining project schedules, weekly reports and working to tight deadlines and budgets. Ensure adherence to Client QA/QC requirements, as well as Company policies, plans, and procedures. Overseeing site project execution, HSE support, QA/QC and close out. Working closely with clients, Civmec management and all other project staff. Assisting in project estimation using various techniques. Control and coordination of execution of the project within limits of authority. Encourage a culture continuous improvement of the company's procedures. Take timely corrective action to address any issued non-conformances. Perform other general duties that may be necessary to suit operational requirements as directed. About You To be successful in the role you will possess the following: Minimum 10+ years' experience leading delivery of projects within the resources, infrastructure, or energy sectors, preferably mechanical based. Proven experience working in a multi-disciplinary scope - SMP preferred and civil or E&I beneficial. Mechanical trade or Engineering background preferred. Extensive experience of full life cycle of project delivery. Demonstrated success in planning, executing and overall management of teams. Strong knowledge with HSE/OHS policies and legislation. Contractual and commercial management and reporting. Flexible, leadership mindset with the ability to work with changing business requirements. Demonstrated ability to build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, subcontractors, third party organisations and internal stakeholders.
