Job Description Fluor Perth are seeking Project Controls Manager(s) to lead a team of project controls professionals for projects with a key mining Client. This lead role requires advanced Project Controls knowledge across types of industries (Mining, Infrastructure, Oil & Gas etc) and major Client bases, both nationally and locally, with demonstrated management experience.
The purpose of this position is to plan and execute the Project Controls requirements of a project, leading the Project Controls disciplines of Cost and Planning and supporting Estimating and Project Delivery functions.
This role is responsible for providing technical and administrative direction, coordination, evaluation, training, and coaching to a team of Project Controls specialists. Acting as a key resource on a project team, the role will require collaboration at all levels, including: client representatives, Fluor management and functional/project delivery leads.

Basic Job Requirements Your main role duties would be:

Develop and implement a project controls plan as part of the Project Execution Plan (PEP) for the project execution.Plan and organize the setup of project baseline in Fluor's project controls system, and implement a plan to track against the baseline on a regular basis.Ensure that the Cost and Planning leads remain focused to the discipline baselines.Analyze variances in performance against the plan, and communicate the reasons for the issuance of variance and proposed mitigation plans to Project Management.Supervise the implementation of Work Breakdown and Project Coding Structures for control and integrity of work to be performed as defined by the contract.Supervise and manage the change management process.Provide meaningful, accurate data that supports project status and forecast to go.Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines.Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines.Ensure all internal reporting is done within timelines and level of accuracy.Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff.Maintain compliance with all applicable policies, procedures, and global standards.
