The Role RSC requires a Manager: Project Control to support the company's planning and delivery strategies to ensure our teams can operate successfully. The work includes: working with technical unit managers to assign human resources to projects; creating and maintaining GANTT charts for each project; aligning time management software with GANTT charts, project set-up sheets, and proposals; creating, maintaining, implementing, and managing all RSC's technical project management standard operating procedures; monitoring project-related emerging issues (technical delivery, legal, financial, WHS, and logistical), and correcting these promptly, or escalating if required; facilitating, managing, and leading project kick-off, progress, and close-out meetings, in collaboration with the technical General Managers and relevant team staff; communicating with external clients, client groups and partners, vendors, and subcontractors; improving processes from 'lessons learned'; conducting detailed analysis of project performance to articulate key metrics and trends; budgeting for variance analysis. WHO we are looking for to join our Team At RSC we are focussed on your skills and experience. Typically, you will have:
at least 5 years' experience in the mineral resource industry in a senior logistics or technical role; excellent ability to plan, schedule, budget, forecast, estimate, and cost control; an excellent understanding of the mineral exploration and mining sector; great working knowledge of project management software, including Microsoft Power BI, Excel, Word, and Outlook; exceptional ability to manage and adapt to competing priorities; Project Management certification (desirable); and hold a Bachelor of Business, Geology, Engineering or similar.
