Within Westpac Private Wealth, we seek to provide unique and differentiated insights, expertise, and opportunities for high-net-worth clients. Global Investment Services provides clients with expertise across a broad range of domestic and international investment opportunities, including fixed income and credit, equities, real estate, structured notes, managed solutions, venture capital and private equity.
In this role you will be part of our Product Management Team that is responsible for growing and supporting the Global Investment Services proposition.
You will also be responsible for: Manage product offering (general responsibilities): Product governance including product changes, product assessments and product monitoringClient communications & corporate actionsManage risks and control obligationsOwn product related incidents and issuesDelivery of internal forum and board reportingManage suppliers and supplier governance obligationsProject Delivery (role specific responsibility): Project manager for new investments to be offered to GIS clients.Manage implementation and change plan for new investmentsLiaise with investment provider counterparties and service providers to ensure product is delivered to GIS requirements and standardsEnsure products and investment solutions are delivered to sales teams with appropriate training and supporting collateralDeliver a consistent client experience through seamless delivery of investments as part of broader investment suite and collateralSupport the Product and Investment teams to review disclosure documents, negotiate side agreements and consider operational impact.Own and lead the investment governance framework, including operating as secretary to the Investment Management Forum and other supporting forums.Stakeholder relationship management with various internal teams and external suppliers to deliver and manage products Communicate pipeline of new product to internal stakeholdersEnsure compliance to all policies and procedures, and proactively manage risksWhat's in it for me? What do I need? We'd love to hear from experienced professionals who have a passion for investments, a collaborative mindset and great stakeholder engagement. Additional skills required for success include:
5+ years' experience in a product team (or similar) in financial services Exceptional planning and organisational skillsExperience with investment structuringAbility to build strong stakeholder relationships Experience in wealth managementStrong understanding of HNW segment and Private client segmentsStrong verbal, written and presentation skillsAdvanced skills in Microsoft Office suite; Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint What is it like to work there?
