Deliver key policy initiatives for Local Government Permanent full-time opportunity Office location – NSW Office locations negotiable, head office located in Nowra, hybrid working supported Salary relative to experience, and ranges from $139,787 to $161,663 p.a plus super The Office of Local Government are looking for a Manager Policy to be instrumental in leading the development, delivery and implementation of key policy, program and strategic initiatives that support organisational objectives and Government commitments. This role will also lead a team who will assist in developing policy and legislation reforms. About You You will have strong communication and excellent writing skills and proven experience establishing and maintaining effective working relationships and networks across a diverse team. You will also demonstrate integrity, responding to sensitive matters appropriately and within tight timeframes. You will have an ability to manage multiple complex matters, often with competing deadlines. Additionally, you will keep up to date with departmental and government strategies to ensure consistency and accuracy of information.
