The Role: As the Manager - Policy and Frameworks , you will play a critical role in developing and maintaining the Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF) and other key risk-related policies and processes.
This role ensures that Auto & General's policies are compliant with external regulations such as APRA, ASIC, CGC, and ICA.
You will also be responsible for coordinating policy reviews, maintaining version control, and ensuring timely approvals and publication of risk documents.
Position Accountabilities: Lead the development and maintenance of the Operational Risk Management Framework (ORMF), conducting annual reviews and driving improvements.
Ensure that Auto & General's policies and procedures comply with external regulators (APRA, ASIC, CGC, and ICA).
Oversee the Document Register, tracking policy reviews and updates, and coordinating approvals.
Provide ongoing support to policy owners, ensuring timely submission and publication of documents.
Produce associated guidance documents and forms.
Implement policies and procedures across all relevant stakeholders, providing updates and reports to committees as needed.
Qualifications & Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in enterprise policy management, with relevant tertiary qualifications.
Strong knowledge of APRA prudential standards and their application in financial services.
General insurance industry experience is highly regarded.
Excellent communication, influencing, and negotiation skills.
High impact presentation skills, with the ability to lead and think strategically.
Proven ability to build strong relationships with senior stakeholders across the business.
Experience in developing policies and frameworks, with the ability to manage the review process and document control.
