In the role of Manager (People Engagement and Change), you will lead the delivery of an integral part of human resources - employee engagement, communication, change management, event management and intranet management. You will lead the People Engagement and Change team to deliver key whole-of-department events, communication and engagement strategies and workforce change management initiatives. The role also manages the HR Intranet - a single source of truth for HR information and services.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
Manage a multi-disciplinary team of communication and change management professionals, comprising of graphic design, employee engagement, internal communication and event management specialists. Proactively manage and supervise staff in all aspects of people performance, including coaching and development, workplace health, safety and wellbeing whilst role modelling ethical behaviour and decision making. Promote, build and maintain effective working relationships with the senior and executive leadership teams, other departmental officers and external stakeholders. Contribute to the department's strategic objectives and priorities and provide advice for the department in relation to employee engagement and change management. Requirements of the role: Leadership and management experience: demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a diverse team of communication, engagement and technical professionals. Including proficiency in resource management including planning, monitoring, and optimising team capabilities and capacity. Experience in managing and delivering department-wide communication campaigns: strong experience in leading department-wide digital communication initiatives, with a focus on strategic planning, execution, and evaluation to align with organisational objectives. Expertise in managing integrated communication strategies across digital platforms to drive engagement and achieve key outcomes. Governance and compliance experience: demonstrated experience in adopting and applying governance principles, including adherence to style guides, brand guidelines, and approval processes. Skilled in ensuring that all communications align with organisational standards and comply with relevant policies, maintaining consistency and quality across all platforms.
