We currently have a permanent, full time opportunity for a Manager People & Culture Operations to join our highly professional and growing People & Culture division. This role will be based in our new, state of the art Head Office in Collingwood and will report to the Head of People & Culture – Operations.
The Manager People & Culture Operations will work collaboratively with the wider People & Culture team to deliver relevant, quality, value-add people solutions for the bank. This is an office based position.
We have big plans to become Australia's most trusted bank and a leading purpose-driven business.As a certified B Corp, we're part of a global business community who meet the highest social and environmental standards, putting purpose over profit.Every role and person in our bank is essential to bringing our values, purpose and aspiration to life.We offer flexible working options, competitive salary and 13% super.Our staff have access to a range of meaningful benefits to support their physical and mental wellbeing including 24/7 free counselling, free flu vaccinations and discounted gym memberships.We also support staff with study assistance, paid parental leave (regardless of gender), volunteer, bereavement, gender affirmation and family violence leave; and the opportunity for bonus annual leave.We support our staff to grow their careers through learning and development and an organisational culture where we reward and recognise innovation and values, not long hours.We are committed to building an inclusive culture and a diverse workforce that reflects the Australian community.We care for a conservation reserve – where we work with key partner organisations to protect threatened species and involve staff in conservation.What you will be doing Manage the annual People & Culture Operations operating planManage Bank Australia's people strategies and frameworks (including remuneration and performance management) to facilitate effective management of the Bank's workforce.Collaborate with the wider People & Culture team to develop and maintain systems, policies, processes and governance arrangements required to enable the Bank to establish clear workplace standards and manage all aspects of employee relations, wellbeing and safetyKeeping abreast of business and/or industrial relations legislative changes, including BEAR/FAR obligations and implementing relevant changes to policy and proceduresIn consultation with the Chief People Officer and/or Head of People & Culture Operations, participate in the design of various People and Culture projects for implementation across the BankEnsure the Bank's recruitment strategy and processes are fit for purposeIdentify opportunities for improvement in the recruitment process and systems to enhance the candidate and hiring manager experience, and quality outcomes for the BankEnsure all recruitment policies, activities and procedures meet both state and national legislative requirementsProvide Talent Acquisition support as requiredManage the Bank's remuneration benchmarking surveysOversee periodic performance processesOversee the remuneration review process ensuring equitable outcomes in line with the bank's reward philosophies and remuneration strategy and frameworkOversee the annual employee engagement survey process across Bank Australia and work with P&C Business Partners to ensure business leaders implement action plans to drive culture change.What you will bring Demonstrable experience as a senior generalist in People and Culture / HR. This experience would typically include change management, project management, recruitment, remuneration, benefits, and policy developmentTertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management, Organisational Psychology, Business or related field is desirableLeadership experience in HR and/or Organisational Development in a complex organisation, preferably within banking or financial servicesAbility to influence and negotiate with key stakeholders at all levelsPrevious experience in successfully providing coaching and feedback to stakeholders, leaders, peers and team membersExcellent level of compliance and legislation knowledge in relevant areas such as workplace relations and recruitmentCommitment to Bank Australia's purpose, aspiration, values and brand as well as the B Corp ethos.By submitting an application you agree to Bank Australia's Privacy Policy for applicants and confirm that you are legally able to work in Australia.
