Come and join our Head Office and lead our amazing People & Culture team for 2024/25 in a Fixed Term Maternity Leave Contract.We are seeking an experienced HR Practitioner to support and manage our corporate and retail divisions, based in Broadbeach.With a direct team of six, the Manager, People & Culture - Corporate & Retail reports directly to our Chief People Officer. The role is responsible for setting and maintaining the overall Human Resources framework, policies, practices, and compliance activities as well as designing and delivering various strategic projects across the company.The role works closely with Executive and Senior Leadership Team, providing generalist HR advice and delivering a consistent centralized support function to our internal corporate and retail divisions and the broader national People & Culture team.What are your responsibilities?Providing leadership, guidance, and support facilitation for six onsite reports.Talent acquisition, sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and retaining candidates.Ensuring our people systems provide a positive Employee experience.Design, coordinate, and manage company-wide people processes including recruitment, culture initiatives, reward and recognition, performance management, and remuneration reviews.Support business leaders in the prevention and resolution of industrial disputes and employee grievances.Manage, communicate, and document any changes in legislative requirements that affect the group.Coordination of temporary staffing requirements in Head OfficeWhat do you need to be successful in securing this role?Demonstrated success in a similar role, min 5 years exp.Relevant tertiary qualifications in Business and or Human Resources ManagementCurrent knowledge of The Australian Fair Work Act and RegulationsStrong industrial relations experience, including negotiating skills.Previous high-level experience with multiple HRIS and ATS systems.Confident time management and organizational skills of self and othersStrong commercial acumen and ability to be a big picture thinker.Strong communication both written and verbal, along with presentation skillsConflict resolution and performance management experience desirable.Experience in a large, complex multi-site business with more than 3,000 staff.Supportive, adaptable, and empathetic characteristics.What's in it for you?Competitive salary.Balconied corner office with ocean views5 weeks Annual Leave.Subsidized car parking.Tailored Novated Car Lease option.Be part of a close-knit and dedicated team that is committed to excellence.Discounts at hundreds of retailers, discounted health insurance, and wellbeing resources including online exercise classes.About Us:We are Australia's largest and most admired inflight catering and retail partner.
