The Position: This is a superb opportunity for a hands-on, proactive and commercially focused senior leader to join and contribute to the Senior Leadership Team. Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer and leading a close-knit team, your diverse, multi-state responsibilities will include:
Overseeing the management of all HR operations. Building and leading a high-performing HR. Developing and implementing a HR strategy that aligns with the strategic objectives and priorities of the organisation. Developing workforce plans that align with the long-term strategic objectives of the organisation. Adopting recruitment and talent acquisition strategies, including training and development, to attract and retain top talent. Promoting, fostering and nurturing a positive and inclusive culture that reflects the values and expected behaviours of the organisation. Employee relations management, including conflict resolution and mediation and maintaining currency with employment laws and regulations. Management of workers compensation and return to work programs. About You: With prior senior leadership experience working in a large, margin sensitive business is preferred, you will be someone who embraces the culture and dynamics of working in a privately owned business, as well as possessing the following skills and attributes:
Relevant tertiary qualifications (or equivalent) and experience in the management of human resources and organisational change. Proven capacity to operate both strategically and operationally with expertise in strategy development and execution across a range of human resources, organisational and cultural change programs. Demonstrated commitment to teamwork and the construction of a supportive, collaborative work environment. Excellent collaboration and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in partnership with colleagues to implement organisational improvements.
