About the Role The Manager, People Analytics and Insights will build the people analytics and insights function for Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV) and lead in the leveraging of data and analytics to promote informed workforce decision making.
They will champion the collection, analysis and interpretation of the organisation's people data and will deliver a clear strategy and road map for implementation that works closely and aligns with the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA) data and analytics strategic direction.

Reporting to the Director, People Technology and Insights, the manager will forecast and develop predictive models that will provide valuable insights and will liaise with senior business leaders to implement data driven solutions that improve employee engagement and retention.
This opportunity is a 2-year fixed-term position.
Join us in building better connections for Victoria by: Promoting a data-driven culture by providing training and support to P&C and business teams in understanding and using data analytics and facilitate adoption of data driven decision-making.Working closely with the People Partnerships and People Experience teams and business leaders to understand their data needs and deliver insights that inform strategic decisions presenting findings in a clear and compelling manner to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Developing and producing regular reports and dashboards to communicate key P&C metrics and insights and provide actionable recommendations based on data analysis to support strategic P&C initiatives.Utilising advanced analytic techniques to identify trends, patterns and correlations within people data and constantly staying abreast of the latest trends and advancements in people analytics tools and technologies to evaluate and recommend new tools to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of the People Analytics and Insights function.About you: As the Manager, People Analytics and Insights you will be an IT professional with a qualification in Information Technology or Data Science and possess strong analytical skills and a collaborative and innovative mindset. You will enjoy challenging the status quote to deliver impactful solutions and be a strong communicator whose leadership skills will engage an executive level audience to promote a data driven culture across the organisation.
