The Queensland Curriculum and Assessment Authority (QCAA) is seeking a Manager, P-10 Australian Curriculum to join the K-10 Curriculum and Assessment Branch.
The role of the Manager, P-10 Australian Curriculum is to lead project teams to support the implementation of the Australian Curriculum by providing quality advice, resources, and professional learning on Prep to Year 10 curriculum, teaching, learning, and assessment to support curriculum leaders, teachers, and other stakeholders throughout Queensland's education sector.Job detailsPosition status: Fixed Term TemporaryPosition type: Full-timeOccupational group: Education & TrainingClassification: AO8Workplace Location:Job ad reference: QLD/QCAA69/2024Closing date: 20-Nov-2024Yearly salary: $142759 - $150873Fortnightly salary: $5472 - $5783Job duration: Fixed term temporary until 31 December 2025In the Manager, P-10 Australian Curriculum role, you will:Provide strategic curriculum, teaching and learning, and assessment advice related to the three dimensions of the P-10 Australian Curriculum.Lead and manage a team to develop and deliver professional development and resources that are responsive to the needs of Queensland teachers and key stakeholders in the education sector and support implementation of the P-10 Australian Curriculum.Lead and manage projects within timeframes, using allocated resources within the team and collaborating with officers throughout the QCAA and external participants.Work collaboratively as part of a team with other managers with responsibility for P-10 Australian Curriculum learning areas to achieve outcomes.Lead the QCAA's support for embedding Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander perspectives across the curriculum.Prepare briefings, correspondence, and reports on program and project activities.Create and maintain professional relations between the QCAA, Queensland teachers, and key stakeholders, engaging using multiple channels both online and face-to-face.Participate in and represent the QCAA at forums, workshops, and discussion groups.Reporting relationships:This role reports to the Director, K-10 Curriculum and Assessment Branch.
