About the Role BHP has an accelerated growth program of decarbonisation and infrastructure projects to support our business objectives and ambition toward net zero operational green house gas emissions by 2050. 
This strategic leadership position will have accountability for the long-term commercial strategy and contracting execution of various infrastructure requirements across energy, water and other critical service requirements, with a strong lens on decarbonisation and renewable energy opportunities. Working with a variety of internal and external stakeholder groups, and utilizing extensive understanding of the market and industry trends, this role will manage the commercial delivery across a portfolio of projects.

The role will be based in Australia (Perth, Adelaide, Brisbane) and will directly lead a commercial team and interfaces with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
About You • 15+ years' experience in complex infrastructure outsourcing transactions, preferably in power generation, transmission and related categories.
• Familiarity with project financing and valuation of complex infrastructure developments. 
• Demonstrable commercial acumen, negotiation skills and courage to drive business outcomes.
• Experience in long term commitment contracting. 
• Experience in design and execution of fit-for-purpose competitive commercial processes. 
• Strong stakeholder management, collaboration and consensus building skills. 
• Ability to develop and execute commercial strategies to solve complex project requirements. 
• Understanding of value drivers and the value of risk.
• Ability to balance competing priorities while delivering commercial projects within broader project schedule timelines.
