What's in it for you? We are looking for an experienced Manager or Senior Manager to join the IFRS Professional Practice in our Perth office.
The EY IFRS Professional Practice is one of the most trusted, respected, and influential teams that assist clients in addressing the accounting and financial reporting challenges facing their business.
You will work within a team of IFRS specialists to provide responsive accounting and financial reporting support to our Audit teams, our Financial Accounting Advisory Services teams, and other service lines within EY.
The role will suit individuals with some previous IFRS experience as well as those with a strong aptitude in developing their IFRS skills with more challenging experiences. You will gain ongoing professional development through diverse experiences, world-class learning, and individually tailored coaching.
Key ResponsibilitiesParticipating in technical accounting consultations and providing technical support to Audit teamsPerforming pre-issuance technical reviews on listed entity financial statementsSupporting the technical learning and development of the Audit Practice through the preparation and delivery of technical updates, publications, and training materialsActively participating in your chosen accounting subject matter group(s)Building strong relationships both internally and externally, including building your profile with professional bodies and organisationsEngaging directly with EY clients in the provision of technical accounting servicesSupporting the EY brand in the marketplace through providing exceptional client serviceDeveloping our people through effectively supervising, coaching, and mentoring of staffPlaying an active operational role within our Oceania IFRS Professional Practice teamWhat we're looking forHere's our 'wish list' but don't worry if you don't tick all the boxes.
