Keolis Downer (KD) is a leading private provider of multimodal public transport in Australia, working collaboratively with State Governments to develop transports solutions that are tailored for all passengers, regardless of their background. In Adelaide, KD partnered with the Department for Infrastructure and Transport in early 2021 with the aim of delivering revitalised passenger train services to the local community and increasing public transport patronage across South Australia.
Following recent business changes, KD will take on the critical role ofcustodian of the local networkover the next decade, with a focus onasset managementandmaintenance. In the shorter term, KD will continue to focus on the provision of customer experience and security services for the next two years, until 2027.

This newly created role is part of the Technical Services function, the main purpose of this role will be to coordinate external entities, OT network partners, and clients, while leading the development and implementation of the IT Roadmap to align with Keolis Downer's technology strategy.
You will: Focus on increasing business maturity in key IT disciplines such as project management, business analysis, solution architecture, change management, and security, while managing IT operations, information security, and asset management.Ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of IT assets, maintains compliance with standards like the Essential 8 and ISO 27001, and oversees vendor management to drive value for moneyDevelop long-term IT strategies, maintaining legacy applications, and ensuring business expectations for data governance and reporting are met through existing technology stacksWork closely with the leadership team and key stakeholders to improve business outcomesProvide an attestation to the Client on an annual basis, showing compliance with the South Australian Cyber Security FrameworkManage daily operations, including administration, management, and monitoring of IT assets, both on-premises and cloud basedAbout you Hold Tertiary qualifications in computers science and/or relevant industry experienceDemonstrated expertise in Data/Development, IT Operations, and Information SecurityDemonstrated experience in managing (directly, or through subordinates) most of the core technology stack, including Windows desktops and servers, M365, SharePoint, Teams, SQL servers, and general SaaS (software as a service) solutionsAbility to engage with employees at all levels of the business and relevant third parties to identify information security requirements, implement and audit systems of work and recommend mitigations to address information security incidents and hazardsProven ability to define and facilitate implementation of appropriate information security monitoring, reporting and communicationsPlease note that you do not need to match every listed expectation to apply for this position.
