Working closely with stakeholders across RACT, the role is responsible for ensuring that RACT Risk and Compliance Frameworks are implemented and operating effectively within Group Operations. The role is also responsible for the quality assurance function overseeing our front-line teams.Key responsibilities include:Leading the implementation of the RACT Risk and Compliance Frameworks for the Group Operations Division.Developing and maintaining the Group Operations divisional risk profile.Conducting Risk and Control Self-Assessments to identify, assess and manage risks impacting Group Operations.Provide structure and governance on the management of Group Operations incidents, issues and breaches.Conducting Design and Operating Effectiveness testing of Group Operations ControlsDeveloping and maintaining Group Operations compliance plans.Conducting compliance gap analysis across Group Operations evaluating compliance with Group Policies and regulatory obligationsIdentifying, assessing, and mitigating risks associated with organisational changes including Group Operations and Transformation projects (Risk in Change).Developing and reporting on key risk metrics for Group Operations including Key Risk Indicators.Successful candidates will have:Relevant tertiary qualification in business, finance, legal or related field.Minimum 3-5 years Risk management/governance experience in a similar role.Knowledge of legislative and regulatory environment and key legislation impacting financial service providers.The ability to constructively challenge, consult, and advise while maintaining respect and credibility.Strong communication and collaboration skills to build effective relationships with senior stakeholders.Ability to think critically, analytically and strategically.At RACT, we're not just a workplace – we're a community.
