Manager - Office of the Chief Risk Officer (529076)Australia, TasJan 8, 2025Maths Full-timeAbout Tasmania GovernmentAbout the Tasmanian State ServiceThe Tasmanian State Service (TSS) is the largest employer in Tasmania, with over 28,000 employees providing services to the Tasmanian community at all levels.The Manager (OCRO) will provide specialist advice regarding strategic governance, policy, communications, and performance on matters coordinated by the Office of the Chief Risk Officer.The role coordinates policy, communications, and strategy on behalf of the CRO and facilitates strategy and policy across OCRO.
It will provide strategic leadership, direction, and support for the coordination and implementation of strategy, performance, and communication.The Role:High level project management skills with a proven understanding of contemporary office management and general management practices within a complex policy environment to achieve identified outcomes.High level leadership ability with demonstrated experience in, and/or knowledge of, policy, business planning, and coordination.High level experience in, and proven ability to manage human and financial resources, fostering a productive and supportive team environment through contemporary management practices, and monitoring and evaluating the effectiveness of the team and its activities against specific outcomes.Details of appointment:Permanent, full time, day worker position, working up to 76 hours per fortnight commencing as soon as possible.
Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.Salary: $128,102 to $134,832 per annum.
