This is a permanent full-time position commencing February 2025 The Office of Education Business Services (EBS) provides strategic advice, ensures efficient executive processes, and manages administrative infrastructure supporting the Deputy Director General's transactional responsibilities.
Acting as a liaison between EBS and executive teams, it develops business and people plans focused on delivering outcomes for customers, employees, and operational systems.
Key priorities include fostering positive relationships, supporting school leaders, promoting a safe and inclusive workforce, and enhancing business processes through data-driven governance.
EBS also coordinates capability-building programs, including the EBS graduate program.
The Role This role involves providing strategic management advice on policy, reforms, and initiatives with significant implications for the Department.
The successful candidate will manage office functions, including resource allocation, budgeting, and policy development, ensuring efficient and effective service delivery.
Key responsibilities include leading a dedicated team, fostering collaboration with senior leaders and external partners, and overseeing the development and implementation of business and people plans.
The role also involves coordinating high-level correspondence, briefings, and reports, while driving continuous improvement in office processes and supporting critical programs such as the EBS Graduate Program.
