Ingredients for Success:
Qualified Chef or Cook:
You didn't just watch cooking shows-you've got the credentials and the scars (emotional or otherwise) to prove it.
Culinary Expertise:
Pro at preparing meals for large groups without resorting to endless pasta bakes. Unless they're really, really good pasta bakes.
Leadership Skills:
You've managed teams before and lived to tell the tale. Bonus points if they still send you holiday cards.
Menu Mastery:
Capable of creating recipes suitable (and enjoyable) for an aged care setting. Translation: You know how to make veggies taste like a treat.
Regulatory Knowledge:
Familiar with OHS and food safety standards. Because "I didn't know" isn't a great defense during inspections.
