Iona College invites applications for the role of Manager of Daily Operations & Analytics.
This key role combines operational expertise with advanced analytical capabilities to support the effective functioning of the College.Key responsibilities include:Constructing and managing the College timetable, ensuring consistent delivery of a diverse range of subjects that meet regulatory requirements and the needs of a wide range of students.Providing essential reporting and analysis to inform strategic decision-making across the College.Ensuring the smooth day-to-day operations of the College.Collaborating effectively with a range of stakeholders.As the successful candidate you will be required to:Provide hands-on support for the development, review, and maintenance of the College timetable, including managing subject selection, staffing, and room allocations to ensure the smooth delivery of a diverse curriculum.Collaborate with College leaders to coordinate supervision rosters, examination schedules, and other critical operational tasks, ensuring effective resource allocation and seamless daily operations.Oversee data management processes, including the preparation of subject load reports and the use of timetabling software, to support decision-making and optimise student outcomes.Collaborate with Deans and other leadership to drive continuous improvement in academic operations, ensuring alignment with AITSL, ACARA, and QCAA standards.Build and provide data visualisations (e.g., student progression, ATAR estimates, and academic awards) and apply predictive modelling to inform strategies in wellbeing and teaching.Manage data collection, accuracy, and compliance for critical reporting requirements, including the NCCD, government censuses, and the College's Annual Report, while supporting audits and ensuring regulatory compliance.Enhance data literacy among teaching staff to support informed decision-making and track student growth effectively.To be considered for this role you should have:Tertiary qualifications in Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.3-5 years of experience in resource allocation and data analysis, with strong project management expertise.Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (e.g., XLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, mail merge), Timetabler, and Power BI; AI tool familiarity is desirable.Strong decision-making, communication, and customer service skills for effective stakeholder engagement.High standards of integrity and confidentiality in managing sensitive information.A current paid Queensland Working with Children Blue Card or QCT registration.Please include the following in your application:A covering letter addressing your suitability for this role;A current resume.Applications close at 6.00pm on Friday 24 January 2025.
