You could be one of our 2700 committed team members who are up to the challenge.About the roleAs the Manager - Network Closure and Works Readiness, you are integral to the success of V/Line's Network Development, Assets and Maintenance Group.The Manager Network Closures & Work Readiness leads interface activities for V/Line's Network Closures and Work Readiness Processes, optimizing network access and integrating assets into business operations while supporting stakeholders in achieving governance standards. This role will also support management of the coaching budget for all AWP and Maintenance disruptive events. This role also provides governance and assurance services, ensuring proper planning, management, and monitoring of works, and managing risks associated with work packages on the network.Key Accountabilities include:Network Closure Master Schedule: Create and manage the schedule for track closures, ensuring all work is planned, managed, and monitored properly and communicated to all key stakeholders.Work Package Management: Plan, manage, and monitor work packages to ensure they meet V/Line standards and readiness criteria.Governance and Assurance: Provide governance and assurance services to ensure all works meet the required standards and procedures.Internal & External Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with various stakeholders to integrate and transition works into regular operations safely and effectively.Continuous Improvement: Implement continuous improvement initiatives, participate in 'lessons learnt' workshops, and contribute to the improvement of the Asset Management and Performance Department.Leadership: Lead and support the team, fostering a collaborative and high-performance work environment.About youOur ideal candidate will be a collaborative leader with strong communication and stakeholder management skills, fostering a high-performance and continuous improvement culture.
