As an experienced asset management and/or maintenance optimisation leader, this is a great opportunity to lead our people centric, technology advanced Gudai-Darri maintenance team.

Reporting to the site General Manager and working in a challenging and exciting environment, you will: Actively foster and communicate a safety and performance driven culture Foster a culture of continuous improvement by identifying, evaluating and implementing improvement opportunities Lead, coach and develop a team of engaged and enabled Maintenance personnel Ensure core asset management processes and practices are being applied Assess and manage risks and assurance activities over asset lifecycle Be appointed as an alternative for Site Senior Executive (SSE) under the WHS (mines) Regulations 2022 with the function as per Schedule 26 Importantly, you'll build strong relationships with internal stakeholders across our operational teams and functional support teams while externally, you'll partner with our original equipment manufacturers.

The Caterpillar mining fleet at Gudai-Darri includes autonomous trucks, production drills, and in a world first, autonomous water carts.
Located 110km north-west of Newman, Gudai-Darri began production in 2022 and reached its planned annual capacity of 43 million tonnes in less than 12 months from first ore. Gudai Darri is now on track to achieve 50 million tonnes of iron ore per year through incremental productivity gains, contributing to our flagship product, the Pilbara Blend™.
